About Dave: Dave O'Hara started preparing for his career in broadcasting while being a paperboy in a small Northeast Iowa town, by conversing with every one of the few subscribers on his route about their life experiences. After a fairly decent high school athletic career, Dave wrapped up a less than fairly decent collegiate athletic career with an appropriately entitled, "B.S.” Degree in Communications and Education.
Those experiences led him to L.A. where he was a Segment Producer on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Those duties included pre-interviewing guests before they would sit down to talk with Jay. Some of the "celebrity” guests who Dave has pre-interviewed are: Sharon Stone, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Shaq, Cal Ripken Jr., Steve Young, Evander Holyfield and Tom Petty. Dave was also an "actor" in more than 50 monologues sketches.
That led Dave back to the Midwest and K.C., to be with his daughter, Kelsey, and to be a host on the Fox Sports Radio Network. Dave has interviewed many sports icons, but his two favorites are Bob Costas and Oscar Robertson. Dave also hosts/emcees and speaks at many corporate events. He also loves attending all of his daughter Kelsey's high school athletic and academic events in the K.C. area.
